HMB-TEC ® eSmog meters capable of detecting electric fields in the low frequency range (LF) of 33Hz to 20kHz

new in the HMB-TEC ® Series "App + DIY"

With this new app from HMB-TEC ®, you can put your iPhone ™ and iPT as a real gauge to detect electrical fields and so-called eSmog. For the measurements, however, you also need a little piece of hardware, but in no time you can it build yourself as a little diy weekend project ;-) You only need a 4-pin jack (3.5 mm) suitable for your iPhone or iPT and a 20cm long metal wire that you use as an antenna. For iPodTouch ™ and iPhone 3GS you will also need another 4.7 kOhm resistance. The wiring can be found in the help screen of the application. Even more convenient is it when you order the antenna is all ready for www.hmb-tec.de. In case you will run the app with your iPodTouch, you may turn the device by 180 degrees. In that case the antenna will be on top.

The operation of the app is, of course, as always, very simple and intuitive. However, before you start the "eSmog meter", you should connect the homemade antenna to the headphone jack of your device. The app logs yet again with a notice asking you to connect the antenna. The eSmog meter now shows a virtual device with a digital display, depending on the instantaneous electric field of a more or less high reading indicates. The measuring range is 0 to 100 volts per meter (V / m), which is the unit of electric field strength. Learn more about this, see e.g. in Wikipedia. Information about electromagnetic pollution can be found in the literature on the subject of bio-architecture.

IMPORTANT NOTES and DISCLAIMER

To run this app you need an additional hardware, you can create by yourself as a DIY or may order it if available at HMBTEC via www.hmb-tec.de

We would like to point out that it is in this application is not a scientific precision and accurate measuring gauge. Think of it more as a playful and orienting tools in order to gain a first impression of electric fields in your environment. Please NEVER contact the antenna directly to mains power, or even in parts of the wall socket. The antenna must make no direct contact with persons or objects!
